Project Architect

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Architect to lead the development of architectural designs and drawings by collaborating with project managers, junior architects, engineers, and designers. The role involves producing comprehensive construction document sets across various projects, from Conceptual Design to Construction Administration. The selected candidate will lead a team of two to three architectural designers, conduct code research and analysis, and may assist with interior development for specific clients. Coordinating with project managers to manage scheduling, forecast deadlines, and oversee projects is an essential aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, junior architects, engineers, and designers to develop drawings and designs.
  • Lead a team of two to three architectural designers.
  • Produce full construction document sets across a variety of projects, from Conceptual Design to Construction Administration.
  • Conduct code research and analysis.
  • Assist with interior development for specific clients as needed.
  • Coordinate with project managers to work on scheduling, forecasting deadlines, and managing projects.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Experience working with construction documents and architectural design.
  • Ability to produce full construction documents with minimal guidance.
  • Registered Architect licensure is highly preferred.
  • Experience working on prototypical and multisite commercial projects.
  • 7-10 years of experience working at an architecture firm.
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and site surveys.
  • Familiarity with zoning, retail, and commercial projects.
  • Experience with design development and construction administration.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
