- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multi-year infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout.
- Oversee 20-30 concurrent project schedules, ensuring seamless coordination across various disciplines.
- Integrate enterprise systems and schedules to optimize project execution.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to inform decision-making and project planning.
- Manage project schedules using advanced scheduling software.
- Develop and manage cost estimates and project budgets.
- Communicate project status effectively to stakeholders and team members.
- Proven experience in managing multi-year, multi-faceted projects.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management.
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other scheduling software.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Reno or Las Vegas as required.
The work environment is within the Major Projects division, which has its own office space inside the NVE building, complete with offices, cubicles, and a small kitchen area. You will be part of a small, dynamic team of five in the Distribution Design team, which is continuously growing and building a legacy within NV Energy. The team culture is collaborative and supportive, fostering a great working atmosphere.
