The Department
CAA Brand Consulting is a strategy-led, full-service marketing agency with expertise in Cultural and Consumer Insights, Data and Analytics, Talent/Influencer and Property Partnership Advisory, Experiential, Social Impact, Creative Services, and Content and Digital Strategy. The Role
The Associate Project Manager will work under the Director of Project Management to support the oversight of all project schedules, timely delivery of the work product, studio workflow, job trafficking, and the effective communication of project status to the creative team.
The ideal candidate has coordinator or other entry-level experience in project management in creative and/or experiential marketing, with a desire to collaborate with a team that brings ideas to life.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the right-hand person to the Director of Project Management, working together as the main points of contact for the Brand Consulting team to engage in work with Creative.
- Liaise with the Account Management team as directed to plan and schedule resources for upcoming projects.
- Plan and execute simple project plans with some supervision.
- Prepare weekly project hours reports for the DPM.
- Keep accurate notes during client and status meetings and disseminate to the Account and Creative teams.
- Assist DPM to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget according to the schedule.
- Provide last looks on projects to ensure that they are completed according to specs and that the Marketing/PR team has the needed assets.
- Attend regular project meetings to be informed and prepared for incoming work.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or similar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management experience, preferably in the areas of creative, experiential marketing, or branding.
- Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter with proactive problem-solving capability.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Must have the confidence to be firm yet flexible and diplomatic in order to achieve necessary results.
Preferred Skills
Experience using the project management tool Asana.
Location
The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires three days per week on-site at our New York office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $66,000-$80,000 . This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
