Plumbing Mechanic

Now hiring a Plumbing Mechanic to join a reputable commercial mechanical contractor serving Connecticuts top hospitals, schools, universities, and commercial buildings.

What Youll Do:
Work under the direction of the Plumbing Foreman on commercial construction sites
Install, repair, and replace:
oCopper, CPVC, and PEX water piping systems
oCast iron and PVC drainage and vent piping
oStorm, sanitary, water, and gas piping systems (aboveground and underground)
Locate and mark positions for wall/floor penetrations and fixture connections
Install supports, hangers, fixtures, water heaters, and plumbing equipment
Test piping systems and fixtures for leaks
Ensure all work meets applicable trade and building codes
Maintain a safe work environment and comply with OSHA regulations

Qualifications:
Valid Connecticut Drivers License
Connecticut Trade License: P-1 or P-2
Knowledge of local plumbing codes
OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
Certified for Scissor and Boom Lift
Reliable transportation to job sites (company vehicle and gas card provided)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
