We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (PE or EIT) with proven experience delivering building design solutions across higher education, government, and commercial sectors. This individual will play a key role in project execution, mentoring junior staff, and driving technical excellence within a collaborative, multi-office team environment.
Lead electrical design efforts for building systems with minimal oversight
Ensure designs meet code requirements and client objectives
Develop and review panel schedules using Revit and/or Excel
Perform power system modeling using SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
Create lighting and power layouts in Revit; AutoCAD proficiency is a plus
Coordinate across disciplines and contribute to design reviews
Oversee portions of project scope including smart meters, microgrids, and campus/commercial facilities
Mentor junior engineers and interns, reviewing their deliverables
Collaborate remotely with PEs and staff across multiple offices

Skills and Requirements
EIT required; PE licensure preferred or actively in progress
4+ years of professional experience in building electrical design
Advanced Revit skills; proficiency with AutoCAD beneficial
Familiarity with SKM, ETAP, EasyPower for power analysis
Expertise in lighting systems, power distribution, and low voltage systems
Strong communication skills and ability to lead coordination efforts
Willingness to work hybrid on-site in Raleigh, Virginia Beach, or Charlotte Active membership in IEEE, IES, or other related professional organizations.
