A **Maintenance Electrician** is responsible for maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repairs of the equipment and facilities in Hoosick Falls. They are also responsible for other duties as assigned and determined by business needs.

Typical duties include:

+ Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair industrial electrical controls, PLCs, and motor drives.

+ Inspect, repair, install, adjust, and maintain electrical equipment, wiring and machinery as required.

+ Schedule and perform periodic inspections of production and facility equipment as part of a Preventive Maintenance program.

+ Investigate electrical breakdowns, determine root cause, and perform necessary repairs.

+ Work as part of a larger Maintenance Team to meet the varying needs of a production facility.

+ Adhere to safe work practices in in performing tasks.

+ Work with site teams on repairs and projects.

+ Perform required audits, inspections, cleaning and participate in 5S programs.

+ Maintain proper records of work using a computerized work order system.

+ Working in both an industrial environment and outdoors as necessary.

Education:

+ 2-year Technical Degree, maintenance apprenticeship, or equivalent training Electrical field of study preferred

Work Experience:

+ 3-5 years in an industrial maintenance role with electrical systems preferred. Additional experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems a plus.

Technical Skills:

+ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot with or without prints and limited direction is desired.

+ Basic PC skills including MS Office.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with a team, and clearly communicate both written and verbally.

+ Ability to use shop math and document settings and changes.

+ Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, blueprints, equipment service manuals, and documented procedures.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $19.20 to $44.31 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Estimated starting salary for this position is $30.00 - $34.00 per hour for external applicants. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee._
