Structures Mechanic**

**Pay rate $35-$41/hr based on experience**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Structures Mechanic to perform sheet metal and structural repairs and fabrication on DC-9 aircraft. This role involves precision tasks such as riveting, fabrication, and installation of various sheet metal components.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform sheet metal and structural repairs and fabrication on DC-9 aircraft.

+ Shoot and buck rivets to specified standards.

+ Execute sheet metal bends and riveting with precision.

+ Conduct fabrication, precision drilling, cutting, and deburring activities.

+ Remove and install various sheet metal components.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 2 years of Aviation Sheet Metal experience in corporate, commercial, or military settings.

+ Proficiency in sheet metal repair and aircraft sheet metal techniques.

+ Experience with aircraft modification and structural sheet metal.

**Work Environment**

The role is onsite at Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti, MI, working in a hangar focused on heavy maintenance. The position is first shift, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, within a team of approximately 15 technicians.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract position based out of Belleville, Michigan.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
