Job Description

SUMMARY OF ESSENTAIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Prepares project implementation schedules with consideration given to scope of project, urgency, availability of resources and other factors relevant to the determination of time tables for each assigned facility.

Studies work progress, review schedules and monitors progress of all groups.

Evaluates cost, project budget, prepares cost statements and analyses and makes appropriate recommendations

Monitors equipment procurement, delivery, and installations on all project involving capital fund expenditures

Schedules and attends coordination meetings and conferences with all representatives as appropriate, of corporate management, City or state-wide regulating agencies, the project team, and consulting architects or engineers involved in the project and /or program.

Trains staff personnel, supervises, evaluates performances and makes recommendations to implement corporate personnel practices.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, construction management or in an approved related program; and

2. Five years of responsible capital program implementation-related experience, including at least two years in administration, management, or expediting substantial phases of capital projects; and

3. Ability to handle complex, allied, technical and commercial problems related to various project management functions with independent judgment, tact, and initiative.

4. Related experience may be substituted on a basis of two years of experience to one year of education.

5. Graduate education may be substituted for up to one year of experience.
