Carpenter (Waterbury, CT): 1 F/T Open Position. Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, & other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking, machines, carpenter's hand tools, power tools. Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structure & repairs or replaces. Assembles & fastens materials to make framework or props. Installs structures & fixtures for windows, frames, floorings. Finishes surfaces of woodworking or wallboard in houses & buildings. Inspects ceiling or floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to detect broken or damaged structures. No edu reqd, 24 months exp in the job offer or as Cabinet Maker, Concrete Carpenter, Construction Carpenter, Framer, Maintenance Carpenter, or closely related position. Weekly or daily travel to unanticipated sites w/in the state of CT. The employer will provide free round trip transport to client sites & back from the employer's main address as well as overnight lodging & any other rltd expenses as needed.
