Our client, Gribbins Insulation & Scaffolding, a family-owned and managed company, is seeking a full-time Project Manager for a major, multi-building mechanical insulation project in Lebanon, Indiana. This position is responsible for managing budgets, cost forecasting, coordinating schedules, meetings and communicating with clients, directing project engineers, quality control, safety coordinator, and working closely with the Project Executive.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Learn and consistently apply Gribbins Insulation's policies and standards for budgeting, communication, and customer relationships
  • Produce accurate cost budgets for mechanical insulation using drawings, field measurements, provided project material pricing, and site labor productivities.
  • Documentation to customers on budget changes, delays, impacts, etc.
  • Track labor and material cost data; maintain historical pricing and production information to inform future bids
  • Manage project budgets, material procurement, and scheduling in coordination with field leadership
  • Attend owner, contractor, and internal coordination meetings as required
  • Prepare and submit RFIs, submittals, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor job progress, productivity, and costs; implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers; responding promptly to requests, providing updates, and resolving issues
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, jobsite visits, and appropriate customer engagement activities
  • Manage project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress tracking

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; equivalent construction or subcontractor experience will also be considered
  • At least 3 years of construction project management experience or 4+ years field construction experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other estimating/project management tools are a plus

Necessary Competencies:
  • Ability to perform accurate material takeoffs and quantity surveys
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to prioritize multiple active bids and ongoing projects
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, especially mechanical, piping, or architectural scopes
  • Familiarity with subcontractor project work flows; from takeoff and estimating through project delivery and completion
  • Able to traverse unstable grounds on job site in varied weather conditions.
