Modernizes legacy RF systems by designing updated circuits and layouts, transitioning from RS-232 to CAN, with hands-on Altium expertise and support for board design activities.
Job Requirements:
5+ years of experience in both circuit design and PCB layout
Proficiency with Altium Designer
Experience with RF circuit modernization and interface transitions (RS-232 to CAN)
Familiarity with processor selection and embedded system integration
Ability to support other board designers with technical guidance
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with older TI processors and migrating to modern architectures
Knowledge of signal integrity, impedance matching, and RF layout best practices
Capable of collaborative troubleshooting and layout optimization
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Design updated RF circuits to replace legacy systems
Develop PCB layouts using Altium, including high-speed and RF considerations
Assist other board designers as needed, offering expertise and layout advice
Contribute to processor selection and architecture decisions for system modernization
Ensure compatibility and functionality between new designs and existing systems
Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
