Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• The Project Engineer oversees the technical aspects of engineering projects from inception to completion.

• The role involves planning, designing, and executing through multiple project phases while coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Conceptualize, design, and coordinate lateral & gravity systems

• Provide value-engineering options for client review

• Participate in quality control reviews

• Coordinate deliverables to client and architect

• Address jurisdiction plan reviews and construction support requests

• Perform on-site observations

Requirements

• The ideal candidate has 2+ years of engineering experience and a degree in civil engineering or 2+ years of industry-specific engineering experience, a full understanding of engineering design principles, and an eagerness to grow their career.

• Technology-savvy

• Ability to identify potential issues, adapt, and problem-solve

• Team-oriented, collaborative, and an effective communicator

• Critical thinker with an attention to detail and ability to make decisions

• Knowledge of building codes and jurisdictional regulations

• Familiar with MEP systems
