About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Project Manager to join our team supporting preclinical cardiovascular and ocular testing services. In this role, you'll coordinate scientific account management for our specialized testing programs, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of studies. Depending on experience, the position may be filled at the Associate or Project Manager level.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and thrives in a fast-paced, science-driven environment. You'll primarily support preclinical medical device and/or ocular programs, with opportunities to contribute to other therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate a deep understanding of Pharmaron's Interventional Surgical Services (Cardiovascular primarily)/Ocular Testing workflow, enhance familiarity with the regulatory requirements for safety and biocompatibility assessments of devices and therapeutics.
- Develop and manage study timelines aligned with departmental capabilities and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with scientific and operational teams to ensure smooth study execution
- Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating when necessary
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned studies, providing timely updates and clear communication
- Prepare study proposals, budgets, and detailed scopes of work in collaboration with scientific staff
- Support scientific account management efforts with new and existing clients
- Ensure all activities are compliant with GLP and other applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., 510(k), PMA, IND)
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation to support audits and client reporting
- Assist with data transfers, quality assurance, and study closeout
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., anatomy, biology, chemistry, animal science); Master's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, CRO, or academic research sectors
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience in project coordination or scientific project management
- Familiarity with regulatory pathways such as 510(k), PMA, and IND submissions is preferred
- Experience with budget development, client communication, and proposal drafting
