Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Construction Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various construction projects and ensuring that operations run smoothly on-site. Duties
Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
Prepare job sites by cleaning and organizing materials and tools.
Load and unload construction materials and equipment as needed.
Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Measure and cut materials according to specifications under the guidance of experienced workers.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements
Language : Punjabi, English
Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
