Maintenance Supervisor**

**Job Description**

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for coaching, supervising, and training skilled craftspeople, apprentices, and laborers in repair and maintenance activities. You will assume accountability for maintenance activities during your shift, perform frontline troubleshooting, and direct safety awareness programs to ensure workforce safety and maintain housekeeping. You'll plan daily activities for maintenance crews, provide tools and technical direction for normal and preventative maintenance, and perform root cause analysis to eliminate downtime. You will collaborate with the Engineering Department to improve equipment reliability and manage the development of maintenance work procedures. Your role will also involve driving continuous improvement activities and assisting other Maintenance Supervisors as needed.

**Responsibilities**

+ Coach, supervise, and train skilled craftspeople, apprentices, and laborers.

+ Assume accountability for maintenance activities during the shift.

+ Perform frontline troubleshooting activities on equipment.

+ Direct safety awareness programs to ensure workforce safety.

+ Plan daily activities for maintenance crews and provide necessary tools and materials.

+ Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate maintenance downtime.

+ Collaborate with the Engineering Department to improve equipment reliability.

+ Develop and manage maintenance work procedures and standard practices.

+ Drive continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste.

+ Assist other Maintenance Supervisors as needed.

+ Manage labor issues effectively within the work area.

+ Perform administrative requirements to manage the workforce effectively.

+ Communicate with upper-level management.

+ Work with contractors, vendors, and hourly employees daily.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3+ years of Maintenance Supervision experience.

+ 1+ years of leadership experience in a Union Manufacturing facility.

+ Experience in an Industrial trade such as Electrician, Millwright, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.

+ High School Diploma or GED.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Proficiency in maintenance supervision and management.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, and troubleshooting.

+ Experience with preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and maintenance scheduling.

+ Familiarity with CMMS, PM schedule, and press maintenance.

**Work Environment**

You will work 80% on the floor and 20% office work, overseeing union employees on 2nd or 3rd shifts. The environment includes forging lines, large presses, heat treat equipment, and furnaces. Expect overlap with multiple crews, and be part of a global leader in forged wheels known for strength and efficiency.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
