Build/Welds custom products from prints and raw materials.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Follows established safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Welds including spot welding, tig and mig (Positions: flat, horizontal and vertical)
  • Fabricates and welds non-ASME code components.
  • Sets up welders, fabricates (cuts, welds, and drills), grinds and finishes.
  • Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • General welding coursework completed preferred (For entry level welder).

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience working with sheet metal.

SKILLS:

  • Ability to understand and follow written work instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools such as tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc.
  • Basic level math skills including fractions and decimals and an understanding of angles.
  • Ability to read from a schematic.
  • Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel.
  • Ability to pass a basic welding test prior to being hired.
  • Computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn Parker business systems.

Competitive Compensation:

  • Hourly pay range for this role is $20.86-32.34
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
