Position Summary

Build/Welds custom products from prints and raw materials.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Follows established safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Welds including spot welding, tig and mig (Positions: flat, horizontal and vertical)
- Fabricates and welds non-ASME code components.
- Sets up welders, fabricates (cuts, welds, and drills), grinds and finishes.
- Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
- Performs other duties as necessary.

EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- General welding coursework completed preferred (For entry level welder).
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience working with sheet metal.
SKILLS:
- Ability to understand and follow written work instructions.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools such as tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc.
- Basic level math skills including fractions and decimals and an understanding of angles.
- Ability to read from a schematic.
- Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel.
- Ability to pass a basic welding test prior to being hired.
- Computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn Parker business systems.

Competitive Compensation:
- Hourly pay range for this role is $20.86-32.34
- Participation in Annual Incentive Program
