Responsibilities of the Position
- Develop detailed design drawings for commercial construction projects using computer design programs Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Strucsoft Metal Wood Framer utilizing engineered shop drawings and architectural models
- Model framing systems to required design standard
- Work with team members/customers/partners to ensure proper design and deliverables are met
- Provide QA/QC reviews of installation with BIM models to 'as built' standards
- Review and prepare architectural and trade models for use of layout by Dusty layout robot
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Experience & Skills
- High school diploma/GED required
- Associates Degree in Construction Management preferred
- Certificate in Building Information Modeling preferred
- 2 years of related experience preferred.
- All other related experiences considered!
- Willingness to travel preferred
- Experience working in programs like Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Strucsoft Metal Wood Framer highly desired.
- Knowledge of cold formed metal framing and interior metal stud framing systems and their assembly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required.
