Industrial Electrician Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Electrician where you will play a critical role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems within our manufacturing facility. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of production equipment, addressing electrical issues and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities Respond promptly to electrical problems within the plant and take corrective actions to resolve them. Demonstrate the ability to work on production equipment and all areas of the plant. Work on PLCs, machinery, and address any issues with building panels. Respond to calls from Central Dispatch and Team Leaders within the facility. Follow through with special assignments given by Supervisor or Team Leader. Work independently on tasks and demonstrate thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Lift up to 75 lbs as required by job duties. Essential Skills Proven electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial setting. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Possession of an E2 license. Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Team player with strong communication skills. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing building with two different shifts. Training will occur on the first shift for a couple of months, followed by transitioning to an off-shift. The schedule rotates between 3pm-11pm and 7pm-7am, offering a long weekend every other weekend. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, Connecticut. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
