Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to coordinate with the Project Executive on contracts, P.O.s, required testing and inspections, submittals, and the creation of subcontractor and supplier lists. The role involves working closely with the Estimator to manage the project budget, scope, and identify potential issues such as critical items or special hazards. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for executing owner contracts, confirming quantities, reviewing subcontracts, and managing critical path submittals. Additionally, the role includes finalizing project budgets, conducting thorough reviews with the field superintendent, and coordinating project schedules with subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Project Executive for contracts and necessary documentation.
  • Work with Estimator on project budget and scope management.
  • Procure Letters of Intent and execute owner contracts.
  • Review and sign returned subcontracts.
  • Execute and track critical path submittals.
  • Confirm project schedule with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Finalize project budgets with AP/AR manager.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of plans and specifications with field superintendent.
  • Schedule weekly site meetings and monthly progress meetings.
  • Organize internal project hand-off meetings.
  • Process and execute change orders.
  • Conduct overall project reviews on budgets and schedules.
  • Update budgets bi-monthly and project schedules weekly.
  • Verify completion and compliance of all testing and inspections.
  • Prepare project meeting agendas.
  • Collaborate with AP/AR Manager for billing processes and subcontractor releases.
  • Manage final punch and close-out preparations for final billings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A degree in Construction Management, Construction/Civil Engineering, or Architecture is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial Building Construction.
  • Experience with Sage, ProCore, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, and Smart Bid.
  • Safety-minded Construction Manager.

Work Environment

This role is based in a construction environment. The successful candidate will work with various technologies and tools, including Sage, ProCore, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, and Smart Bid. The position involves ensuring safety standards and protocols are maintained at all times.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $155000.00/yr.
