Manpower is hiring a 1st shift welders for one of our top clients in North Milwaukee (73rd & Calumet). Pay based on experience $19-$22/ hour. What's in it for you?: 1st shift Monday - Thursday 5:30am-4:00pm with OT on Fridays Positions Available temp to hire position Weekly pay Great opportunity with a great company! Responsibilities: Performs set-up and welding on a variety of weldments and structures following written job instructions or standardized methods and procedures utilizing fixtures and jigs. Set up, operate, adjust, and regulate welding machines to produce high quality weldments and blades for the company's lines of commercial snow and ice control products. Perform designated maintenance functions, assumes ownership for quality of weldments, participates in training, performs daily 6S activities, and maintains safety standards. Maintains good housekeeping and 6S. Produce quality welded components to daily production requirements. Requirements: At least 3 years of welding experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Welding Technology Degree or Welding Technical Diploma desirable. Strong basic math skills and ability to read blueprints are required. Robotic welding experience is highly desirable.
