Sr. Technical Project Manager - Asset Management/Wealth Management (ONLY W2) - LOCAL TO LOS ANGELES, CA

The Sr. Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing, planning and executing tactical and strategic projects within Technology. The Sr. Technical Project Manager will focus on cost effectiveness, communication, risk analysis, quality assurance and implementation of highly visible, sensitive and multi-faceted projects.
Responsibilities
Manage and co-manage complex initiatives that span within Data Solutions and/or multiple lines of business.
Provide on-site support for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication.
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and support the strategic planning team meetings.
Provide status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
Manage project scope and changes.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in the areas of IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Well versed in Jira & Confluence.
Financial services industry experience a plus.
7+ years Technical Project Management-relevant work experience.
Experience working directly and/or in proximity to finance and accounting projects. (Data component)
PMO, PMP, or Six Sigma Project Management Certification.
At least 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
Experience managing operating budgets and/or project financials.
Agile experience preferred.
Ability to navigate highly complex projects with multiple cross-collaboration partners.
Experience in managing data and technology projects preferred.
Strong understanding of SDLC preferred.
