Cowboy Foreman 71049 L Road, Orleans, NE 68966 From $25 an hour - Full-time From $25 an hour - Full-time Overview High Choice Feeders is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cowboy Foreman to lead day-to-day feedyard operations at our Harlan location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, team-oriented environment and has strong horsemanship and leadership skills. Duties Lead and supervise a team of feedyard cowboys Oversee cattle health: observe, diagnose, and treat livestock as needed Perform horseback work, pen riding, and cattle movement Communicate effectively with management and coworkers to ensure smooth operations Ensure safety procedures and animal welfare practices are followed Assist with identifying and implementing operational improvements Skills Previous experience working in a feedyard is required Strong horsemanship and animal health knowledge Experience supervising or leading others Good communication and problem-solving skills Must be able to speak and understand English Must be reliable and able to work outdoors in varying conditions Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle provided for work-related duties and commuting 100% employer-paid BCBS health insurance for you and your family Horse program: up to 2 horses allowed on-site with feed and care provided Horse bonus: $1,000 twice per year Beef bonus: $500 twice per year Paid holidays Opportunity to work with a respected, family-oriented company How to Apply: Call Greg at ... between 7am-6pm CT to learn more or express interest in the position.
