Reviews DLA Installion Management Susquehanna designed projects for constructability and suggest improvements which result in savings or improved efficiency.
Approves contractor's construction schedules and quality control procedures.
Observes and investiges construction all stages to identify problems, such as unauthorized deviions from approved plans and specificions.
Takes timely action to change designs or recommend changes to designer to solve problems such as unusual foundion conditions.
Suggests and advises on the acceptability of alternive constructions methods.
Monitors contract construction operions one or more work sites possibly involving more than one contractor depending upon the size and scope of projects assigned).
Documents contract compliance and keeps an organized record of communicion with contractors.

To qualify for a Construction Control Inspector , your resume and supporting documention must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience th equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or reled to this position. To qualify the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-10 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or prive sector.
To qualify the GS-10 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or prive sector.
To qualify the GS-09 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or prive sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualificions, and any other regulory requirements by the cut-off/closing de of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:

Drug-Free Workplace Policy
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is committed to maintaining a safe, drug-free workplace. All DLA employees are required to refrain from illegal drug use on and off duty. DLA conducts pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and random drug testing.
Applicants tentively selected for employment in testing designed positions will undergo a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Refusal to undergo testing or testing positive for illegal drugs will result in withdrawal of the tentive job offer and a six-month denial of employment with DLA from the de of the drug test. Employees in drug testing designed positions are subject to random drug testing.
The DLA drug testing panel tests for the following substances: marijuana, cocaine, opies, heroin, phencyclidine, amphetamines, methamphetamines, fentanyl, norfentanyl, methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA), and opioids.
