Job Summary
Maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of mobile and stationary equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to drive continuous improvements in product quality. Understand the importance of product safety, legality, and quality – Inform the Quality Supervisor and/or any other key stakeholders of any issues.
- Responsible for scheduling and performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Responsible for adjusting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of mobile and stationary equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on forklift trucks and FEL.
- Report any damage to machines or equipment or spoilage to the immediate supervisor.
- Complete inspection sheets, timecards, work orders, and other reports accurately.
- Properly issues out and restocks components from the storeroom areas.
- Must be able to read and utilize hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics associated with equipment.
- Completes proper installations and performs troubleshooting of systems and components on stationary and mobile equipment.
- Must always maintain a clean and hazard-free workplace.
- Performs other related work as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read prints and drawings.
- Must be proficient in diagnosing machine malfunctions, adjusting, dissembling mechanical sub-assemblies, replacing broken or worn parts, and reassembling mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- Ability to work ethically.
- Knowledge of general industrial maintenance.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Positive Attitude.
- Ability to learn basic SAP transactions such as printing a Work Order, Time Reporting
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Trade School or Community College in general or industrial maintenance or equivalent experience.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements
- The environment has a fair amount of noise and dust. Humidity is high in summer.
- Work areas are generally dry.
- Some work must be done around machinery and equipment that is in motion as well as around energized power cables.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time while repairing the machine.
- Must be capable of lifting 65lb
- Must be able to ascend and descend a ladder of at least thirty (30) feet in length.
