Structural Engineer

A Structural Engineer is needed in North Florida. Candidates need to have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 2 years of design/construction experience. Must have design software experience and be able to work in a team setting. Some site visits. No overnight travel. Federal Project Experience (Defense and/or Civilian Agency), preferred. This is an in-office position. Relocation assistance, salary and benefits.

responsibilities:
Provides structural engineering and analysis for development of structural plans

Assists with the production of contract drawings, engineering plans and details for various structural projects

Assists with providing structural solutions

Assists with construction administration, review construction submittals and respond to contractor questions

Assists with writing specifications for structural projects

Helps project manager with coordination of projects between contractors, owners, architects and other disciplines

Performs site visits as necessary during the design and/or construction phase services of a project

Assists in the preparation of reports detailing investigations & assessments of structures.
