Automated Machine Designer Mechanical Engineer Electromechanical Mechatronics BSME Project Engineering Design Multi-Axis Motion Packaging Assembly Material Handling Fabrication Paper Converting Electronics Assembly Robotic Machinery _.

Join a talented team of design engineers developing new high speed tablet packaging machines for customers in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.

Activities:

*** Define project needs, performance specifications, size requirements and timelines.

*** Design systems and sub-components incorporating complex and precise multi-axis linear and rotary motion at high speeds.

*** Perform stress, fatigue, and failure analysis on components, materials, and prototypes.

*** Calculate drive requirements and ratios, cam profiles, machine timing, actuator forces and similar mechanical engineering functions.

*** Interact with fabrication department on manufacturability issues involving cutting edge Additive Manufacturing and CNC machine tools.

Requirements:

*** 5+ years in a similar role designing, prototyping, and testing packaging machinery or similar.

*** Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
