Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial projects in the Atlanta area. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational expertise, and a proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise and manage all on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and enforce compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets or exceeds company standards.
  • Document project progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to project management teams.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
