Structural Concrete Estimator

Position: Structural Concrete Estimator Industry: Commercial Structural Concrete Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview: Our client, a reputable commercial concrete contractor, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The company self-performs a variety of structural concrete projects, including slab-on-grade, cast-in-place concrete, foundations, and other commercial concrete work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating for structural concrete projects and a proven ability to deliver accurate, detailed bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial structural concrete projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes

• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to identify scope and potential challenges

• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and engineers to ensure estimates reflect constructability and project requirements

• Maintain and update historical cost databases and estimating templates

• Assist in bid preparation, submission, and presentation to clients

• Evaluate subcontractor proposals and incorporate into overall project estimates

• Track and report estimating activity and job profitability

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in structural concrete , commercial construction preferred

• Proficient with estimating software and Excel

• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, material takeoffs, and cost analysis

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients
