Summary of Role :
GlobalFoundries ' Fab 9 (Essex, VT) is seeking an experienced, skilled, and motivated Facilities Project & Managed Contracts Coordinator . This individual will play a key role in ensuring that contracts and projects supporting the Campus & Facilities infrastructure are executed in alignment with project guidelines and meet the needs of system engineering and facilities management.
The role requires the ability to interface withand often leadproject reviews involving Facilities engineering, technicians, and contractors to ensure project success. The position demands that the individual spend at least 75% of their time in the field, ensuring safe project execution that meets required timelines and stays within budget.
Most of the work in this role will be performed independently, requiring the individual to determine methods and procedures for new projects and assignments, while seeking guidance in complex situations as needed. The position reports to the Northeast Site Services Manager , with a strong dotted-line relationship to the Facilities Operations/Systems Team that the role supports.
Essential Responsibilities:
Work directly with vendors, contractors, Facilities system engineers, system managers, system technicians, and others as needed to ensure all aspects of Facilities-initiated projects, Facilities Work Orders, and managed contracts supporting the Fab 9 facility are developed, executed, and completed within budget.
Work closely with key stakeholders to establish project scopes, assist with obtaining multiple vendor/contractor quotes, and support final selection for each project.
Responsible for ensuring projects meet predetermined budgets and for executing them to meet financial commitments.
Lead projects and assignments locally, with support and collaboration across the region.
Apply professional concepts and company objectives to resolve issues in creative, innovative, and effective ways.
Initiate process improvements and cost management activities consistent with company objectives .
Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to achieve results, and proactively solve complex problems.
Influence execution process improvements and cross-functional decisions.
Update and validate safe execution practices and schedules to ensure all pertinent information is accurately captured and recorded.
Build positive relationships and rapport with site-centric vendors and contractors.
Strong focus on Campus appearance.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Qualifications:
Education - Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience in Project Management or a related field.
Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Project Management field.
General HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Physical Requirements - Ability to lift to 50 lbs
W ork outdoors as needed.
Travel - Limited domestic travel required .
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience 5 years' experience supporting semiconductor facilities .
Skills- Ability to operate forklift and/or telehandler, carpentry, mechanical knowledge.
Expected Salary Range
$54,200.00 - $110,300.00The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
