Flat/Torch ROOFERS - min. 2 year roofing exp.

Citadel Roofing & Building Maintenance is currently looking for a FLAT/TORCH ON ROOFER.

We are currently looking for an outgoing individual with strong work ethic, reliability and accountability to join our fast-growing SBS (Torch-On) division. Home Base: Port Coquitlam, BC, but working at job sites throughout the lower mainland from West Vancouver to Chilliwack.

Salary: $30 - $40, depending on experience

Our next Flat Roof/Torch On Roofer will be responsible for:
Preparing, installing, repairing or replacing, conventional 2 ply torch-on (built up roofing) systems using a variety of materials
Ensuring quality installation techniques are used and followed
Setting up scaffolding, guardrails, or other fall protection systems to provide a safe work environment
Loading and unloading of materials
Using hand tools and power tools for installation
Adhering to all job site safety requirements
Working in a teamwork environment
Other duties, as assigned

While we don't like turning away good candidates, Citadel Roofing & Building Maintenance is looking for people that meet these minimum requirements:
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
2+ years roofing experience
Experience on large-scale flat roofs
Team player who is reliable, dependable and accountable
Ability to work with ladders and comfortable with heights is a must
Ability to lift up to 80lbs
Ability to work well and communicate with others
A willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Must have basic PPE and tools
Valid Fall Pro certificate
Drivers license, not required but considered an asset
Red Seal Roofer Ticket, considered an asset
First Aid Level 1, considered an asset
