Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer/Project Engineer to lead sales, project management , and design efforts. This role involves planning and executing custom systems in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in 2D/3D CAD design, project coordination , and client engagement.

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
• Willingness to travel (approx. one week per month)
• Proven experience with conveyors and process equipment
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and Inventor (3D)
• Strong background in technical sales and project management
• Familiarity with process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and food safety standards
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication , customer service, and organizational skills
• Experience designing systems including conveyors, mezzanines, sensors, and warehouse controls

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical systems using AutoCAD and Inventor
• Maintain CAD standards and drawing templates
• Organize and manage project drawing packages and workflows
• Maintain electronic drawing archives
• Collaborate with clients to define project scope and develop proposals
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets
