Commercial Estimator - Remote/Hybrid Flexibility

A leading masonry company specializing in high-quality construction for multifamily projects has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Commercial Estimator to join their collaborative team. Comprehensive compensation & benefits package, annual performance bonus, vehicle & gas allowance, PTO, and training. Flexibility for remote/hybrid schedule for non-Houston applicants but must be able to attend office and onsite meetings on occasion.

Key Responsibilities:
Review project plans and specifications to interpret and determine scope of work and required contents of estimates.
Utilize estimating spreadsheet to conduct takeoffs and quantify project components based on plans and specs.
Work with the sales and estimating team to build the project estimate and proposal for submittal.
Assist in the preparation of a preliminary project schedule based on the information provided in the plans and specifications.
Research pricing for estimates based on historical and regional costs.
Work with the team to close the estimate and generate a proposal.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of estimator experience specializing in masonry materials: stucco, stone, clay, concrete block, brick, etc.
New construction experience w/multi-family projects/developments (student housing, senior living)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong math ability.
Technical: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, BidScreen, Google platform.
