Construction Inspector

Location: Buffalo, New York

Type: Contract To Hire

Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:

+ Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel);

+ Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results;

+ Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis;

+ Preparation of field data and technical reports; and

+ Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections.

Requirements:

+ 1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing;

+ Associates Degree;

+ Asphalt and NYS HMA Certification a plus

+ Previous experience in a soils or materials laboratory is a plus
