WHAT THIS ROLE WILL BE DOING

The Organizational Development Manager is responsible for driving organizational growth and alignment with strategic goals by leading change management initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture, and overseeing performance management systems. Develop and implement strategies for talent management, employee engagement, and organizational assessments to enhance skills, morale, and productivity. Collaborate with HR to prepare future leaders through talent development and succession planning while ensuring a positive organizational culture that promotes retention and satisfaction.

Duties to include (not limited to):

  1. Strategic Planning and Development:
  • Develop and implement organizational development strategies
  • Ensures that all development initiatives align with the company's strategic goals
  • Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement and growth
  1. Change Management:
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support employees through change processes
  1. Talent Management:
  • Collaborate with HR in designing and implementing talent development programs to enhance employee skills, boost morale and career growth
  • Collaborate with HR to identify and develop high-potential employees as well as succession planning activity for leadership roles
  1. Performance Management:
  • Collaborate with HR in the development and implementation of performance management systems
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to improve performance and productivity
  1. Culture and Engagement:
  • Foster a positive organizational culture that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with HR in the developing and implementing initiatives to enhance employee morale and retention
  1. Organizational Assessments:
  • Lead efforts to conduct employee engagement surveys to help to determine opportunities with employee
  • Develop action plans based on data to help drive initiatives and activity supporting business success

A successful Organizational Development Manager will possess and/or demonstrate the ability to:

  • Teamwork oriented both internally/externally - cooperative - positive attitude
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Learn WSC operations/procedures to apply in problem solving situations
  • Experience with integrating work activity within a HRIS system

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • 5-8 years of demonstratable experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Demands / Physical Requirements:

  • Flexibility of hours to adapt to seasonal needs
  • Minimal travel might be part of the position. Frequency will be determined based on needs
  • In office position, located in Schofield, WI

Reports to: Chief Human Resources Officer
