Electrical Engineer

Under the direction of the Transmission Rates Unit Supervisor, the incumbent performs the less complex electrical engineering work related to technical and economic evaluation of transmission studies and interconnection service requirements, and transmission rate design for the reliable and cost-effective operation of the State Water Project (SWP).

The incumbent requires fundamental knowledge of and working capabilities in electrical engineering, engineering economics, project management techniques, and proficiency with spreadsheet and data processing software. This position requires that the incumbent work cooperatively with others and maintain regular, consistent, and predictable attendance, analyze situations accurately, exercise sound judgment, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

This position is physically located in the Arden-Arcade area in Sacramento, CA.
