Join an elite and highly skilled team specializing in the design and build of custom powder handling products for the pharmaceutical industry. We'd love to talk to you about being the next member of the Rheo team!Objectives:- Work with design team resources to develop and test new products- Research new technologies, industry processes, and relevant compliance regulations/guidelines- Conduct design feasibility reviews- Spec components and build a bill of materials for complex machine assemblies- Assemble design drawings- Perform simple FEA analysis on structural assemblies- Work with theoretical calculation tools to determine static and dynamic force requirements- Conduct design review meetings- Assemble detailed assembly, weldment, and part drawings- Draft and assemble project documentation packages (operator's manual, etc.)- Support the Engineering Manager in product specific initiatives such as improved functionality and cost reduction- Conduct client review meetings to assess product utility and customer feedbackSuccess in This Role Looks Like:- High customer satisfaction with product designs.- High production team satisfaction with design for manufacturability.- On time completion of product designs.Minimum Qualifications:- Ability to work on-site at Peoria location 100%- Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field- Software: - Proficiency in a 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor is preferred) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)- Experience: - 5+ years of product design experience - 5+ years of 3D CAD experience- Traits: - Excellent mechanical aptitude and analytical skills - Superb Communication - Understandably and naturally get your ideas across - Detail Orientation - High attention to detail and highly organized - Extreme Ownership - Ability to see a project through from beginning to end, no matter the obstacle - Self-Motivated - You take initiative, set goals, and work hard to exceed them - Customer Driven - You make customer satisfaction a chief priority - Team Spirit - You make the people around you better and enjoy collaborationPreferred Qualifications:- Team leadership experienceWorking Conditions:- Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times- Able to travel as needed (5%) - to work directly with customers and learn the market/industry for effective product developmentBenefits:- Medical, Dental, Vision, Life- HSA Employer Contributions with qualifying plan enrollment- 401(k) with 4% employer match- 16 days of PTO per year at start- T-Mobile Phone Plan paid for by Rheo w/ new phone stipend every two years Compensation details: 75000-100000 Yearly Salary PI72b3f385b83b-29...
