Coates Field Service, Inc. is seeking a people-driven Central Operations Manager to co-manage the Central Operations staff and project related tasks. This position has the potential for a hybrid work schedule. Local candidates to Oklahoma City. No per diem is available.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage Operations staff of cross-functional roles / areas of expertise

Collaborate with RFP team to assess labor hours and misc. costs needed to complete project functions from Operations staff employees

Manage Operations group relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., regional offices, client personnel, etc.).

Collaborate with regional divisions, support strategies to maintain existing business

Provide strategic advice internally (including project approach, day-to-day right of way practices, suggested technological usage, etc.).

Serve as subject matter expert and Operations administrator for multiple project-related activities and technologies

Design, implement, and regularly review standard operating procedures for Operations group

Translate project goals into actionable steps, deadlines, staffing levels, etc.

Coordinate regular meetings/check-ins with project staff to monitor progress, avoid schedule slippage, prevent budget overages, identify risks, etc.

Work with Operations group leaders to identify areas of opportunities for continual improvement

Lead Operations staff to encourage maximum performance and dedication

Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as mentor and leader to staff

Identify emerging talent and develop to full potential

Address personnel needs in collaboration with HR

Recognize potential risk to the company and address / advise as appropriate

Work to stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, etc. by involvement with professional organizations such as IRWA

Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Current or recent experience in a leadership role in Right of Way or Land Acquisition, engineering construction, and/or energy industry experience

Experience supervising and leading right of way project teams located at various locations

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Land Database Systems

PMP or equivalent
