Residential Construction Superintendent in Houston,TX,US

Meet objectives and make sure the projects are built on schedule, within budget, & to all company and local codes. Coordinate activities and communicate with vendors and subcontractors as needed Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, material control, subcontractor coordination etc.) Complete daily reports, quality reports, accident reports, etc. as required Create and oversee punch lists and ensure completion of all related work prior to inspections Provide technical assistance (i.e., interpret drawings, recommend construction methods and equipment, etc.) Effectively direct and supervise field construction activities Be responsible for the productivity of subcontractors, the efficient use of materials and equipment, and the contractual performance of the project. Fluently read and interpret specifications and plans Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to seek the best outcome Have knowledge and an understanding of construction guidelines Ensure that all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules Documents all violations, recommends, and implements corrective actions and notifies the Construction Manager Perform functions efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision.
