Job Summary: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exciting success and sustainable growth in the Pacific Northwest. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a Water/Wastewater Client/Project Manager focused on water and wastewater services in our One Water Group.
Responsibilities include:
Project management, coordination and liaison for project work obtained
Engineering design and development of calculations, reports, plans, and specifications
Mentor and provide technical guidance and advice for less experienced technical staff
Maintain familiarity with technical requirements and regulations affecting the assigned industry and other potential consulting opportunities
Assist with managing current clients related to obtaining and executing projects
Assist with marketing work within the water industry and recognizing potential opportunities to cross-market with other business lines
Maintain and grow a professional network within the Water/Wastewater industry, leading to a focus on pursuing new clients
Some travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in environmental or civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
At least five (5) years (10+ preferred) of relevant work experience
PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
Project management experience
Experience with client interactions and a desire to expand this practice
Interest in business development and marketing
Experience with mentoring technical staff
Oregon and/or Washington PE license
