HBA Architecture & Interior Design, Inc. is celebrating 51 years and looking to grow! We are looking for qualified candidates for the following positions:
Licensed Architect/ Project Manager - for immediate placement in our Virginia Beach, Virginia office with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and searching for work/ life balance while growing as a professional architect.
In addition, the candidate shall demonstrate the following capabilities and qualifications:
- Ability to Listen.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, internal team members, and consultants.
- Is interested in delivering high-quality, innovative architectural solutions that meet both clients needs and regulatory requirements.
- Is experienced with developing and presenting design concepts and solutions that align with client requirements and project objectives.
- Is capable of leading and managing projects that adhere to project goals, budgets, and schedules.
- Is an effective communicator who is capable of fostering and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Is experienced with leading a project team through the development of a variety of project types from conception through construction administration.
- Exhibits a positive attitude and approach to their work.
- Is interested in mentoring.
- In addition to their license possesses an accredited professional degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
- Has experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suites.
- Third party sustainability experience or accreditation a plus.
Architect-in-Training - for immediate placement in our Virginia Beach, Virginia office with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
The ideal candidate is creative, self-motivated, and searching for work/ life balance while pursuing their professional license.
In addition, the candidate shall demonstrate the following capabilities and qualifications:
- Ability to Listen.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, internal team members, and consultants.
- Exhibits a positive attitude and approach to their work.
- Possesses strong graphic skills.
- Is interested in learning.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suites.
- Possesses an accredited professional degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
- Third party sustainability experience or accreditation a plus.
