What you’ll do as a CAD Drafter

  • CAD Drafter/Designer is responsible for producing carrier and cable industry OSP construction drawings which meet our customers’ expectations in preparation for installation, repair or removal.
  • Designers may be required to gather information and produce permit drawings for specific projects, review drawings for accuracy, and revise and update drawings for approval by customers.
  • CAD Designer may need to contact customers for more information on a project or check with teammates to ensure conformity to specifications.

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications OSP Design/Engineering Experience is required
  • Familiarity with ICGS, IDDS, Visio, and Bently is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills
    Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with minimal guidance upon the completion of the training program
  • CAD Designer may need to use creativity and judgment due to frequently changing conditions. Ability to adapt and use critical thinking skills.
  • Remote based position.

Hourly Pay rate $20-$22
