At Precision Valley Communications , as a Drafter Designer, you’ll plot, map, design, and draft in CADD using the requirements for telecommunications networks and permits. You will create accurate network maps, layouts, drawings, and detailed electronic construction prints to meet customer expectations.

What you’ll do as a CAD Drafter

• CAD Drafter/Designer is responsible for producing carrier and cable industry OSP construction drawings which meet our customers’ expectations in preparation for installation, repair or removal.
• Designers may be required to gather information and produce permit drawings for specific projects, review drawings for accuracy, and revise and update drawings for approval by customers.
• CAD Designer may need to contact customers for more information on a project or check with teammates to ensure conformity to specifications.
  

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications OSP Design/Engineering Experience is required
• Familiarity with ICGS, IDDS, Visio, and Bently is preferred.
• Effective communication skills
  Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks with minimal guidance upon the completion of the training program
• CAD Designer may need to use creativity and judgment due to frequently changing conditions. Ability to adapt and use critical thinking skills.
• Remote based position.

Hourly Pay rate $20-$22
