Position Overview:
The Junior Project Engineer will collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to support field operations, documentation, and project execution. This position offers a strong foundation for individuals seeking to build a career in construction project engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with material takeoffs and project scheduling
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution
Track material deliveries and maintain inventory records
Interpret and review construction drawings and specifications
Support quality assurance and quality control efforts on-site
Record and verify field activities and assist with tracking project progress
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (required)
Up to 2 years of relevant experience; candidates beginning their careers are welcome to apply
Strong organizational and time management skills
Dependable, proactive, and willing to learn
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Effective communication and multitasking abilities
Previous construction experience is helpful, but not required
