Job Summary
This is an entry level position in the utility/refrigeration department. The utility department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC systems, hot water, compressed air, fire protection, and steam systems. The applicant will assist qualified and licensed technicians in performing duties within the rules and regulations standards in place. The applicant should be willing to participate in training and skill development in all areas of the utility department. The applicant should be self-motivated, multi-tasking, and able to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete daily safety checks/rounds per the standard application.
Assist General and Senior Technician with Preventive Maintenance and Repairs.
Data entry daily into the current CMMS system, including preventative maintenance records, inspections, and stock replacement parts used.
Maintain plant-wide ventilation systems, including preventive maintenance, operations, and repairs.
Maintain plant-wide plastic program (Roof Leaks, Condensation, Pipe Leaks, etc.)
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, including all safety protocols and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
Comfortable operating at high elevations
Ability to lift or move 75 pounds.
Ability to withstand changing environments.
Ability to operate an aerial lift and sit-down forklift.
Basic computer skills required.
Must reside in the US to be considered; this role does not offer sponsorship.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of industrial maintenance/refrigeration experience required.
Proficient experience with Microsoft-based software, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
Experience with SAP systems is preferred.
Schedule
Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.

Travel Requirements
Approximately one to two weeks travel per year for technical and safety training.

Pay
Hourly wages up to $25.00 an hour with a yearly wage review. Up to $2,000.00 sign on bonus.
