Commercial Roofer Foreman Job Description As a Commercial Roofer Foreman, you will lead and supervise roofing crews, ensuring efficient and high-quality project execution. You will oversee the installation and repair of commercial roofing systems, enforcing safety protocols while coordinating material and equipment management. Responsibilities Supervise and direct daily activities of roofing crews, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure productivity and quality. Oversee the installation and repair of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing. Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings, ensuring all crew members use proper PPE and follow OSHA guidelines. Coordinate delivery and usage of materials and tools, maintaining inventory and ensuring proper handling and storage. Inspect work throughout the project to ensure high standards and code compliance, identifying and resolving issues proactively. Serve as the primary contact between field crews and project management, providing daily updates on progress and challenges. Maintain accurate records of crew hours, material usage, and job site activities, assisting with project closeout and punch list completion. Essential Skills Minimum 3-5 years of commercial roofing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems and installation techniques. Ability to read blueprints and project specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
