Maintenance Technician / Electrician

We are looking for a skilled maintenance worker to work at our office complex, Corporate Center in Columbus, GA. Position would also have a Electrician / Construction focus. Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred

General knowledge of building maintenance systems such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry

Commercial maintenance or facilities experience strongly preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with the completion of general work orders and preventive maintenance in common areas, mechanical rooms, restrooms, and office spaces

Support light electrical work, HVAC chiller filter changes, plumbing repairs, tile ceiling replacements, and minor carpentry tasks

Rotate early shift duties (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) to open the building, inspect systems, and prepare for tenant occupancy

Respond to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner

Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities, including after-hours and holiday emergencies

Maintain accurate inventories, equipment logs, and maintenance records

Perform building walkthroughs and inspections to identify safety issues or needed repairs

Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in accordance with company standards and safety protocols

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and property management team as directed

Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Director of Operations

Schedule:

Regular Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with 1-hour lunch)

Rotating Shift: Shared among three technicians, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM to open the building (with 1-hour lunch)

On-Call Rotation: Evenings, weekends, and holidays shared among the maintenance team, designated by Director of Operations/Maintenance Director
