What do we need:

We are looking for a Journeyman-level Maintenance Mechanic to support the 1st shift. We're looking for a self-driven and motivated individual willing to work independently and as a team player.

Shift: 1st shift hours are from Monday - Thursday from 6am - 4:30pm with flexibility required to adjust to plant needs.

What's special about this team:

Our Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the facilities and manufacturing assets at our Quincy, WA locations for our valued customers. The maintenance team is comprised of small but highly qualified skilled trades employees, and the equipment they maintain is involved in a wide range of facilities and manufacturing operations. As a Mechanic on the team, your focus will be on performing preventative maintenance and repairs, diagnosing/troubleshooting maintenance issues, performing a variety of maintenance repairs, welding, and fabrication.

This position will require employees to be available Monday through Saturday. The department will determine which days comprise the 40-hour work week based on production and scheduling demands. This position may be required to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

What's special about this role:

You will have numerous responsibilities, from diagnosing malfunctions to repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and finding root-cause solutions to problems. You will work with conveyor, pumping, hydraulic, and compressed air systems.

At times, you will utilize your fabrication skills to work on existing equipment. This position will require flexibility for possible Monday through Saturday scheduling, with the department determining which days will comprise the 40-hour work week based upon production and scheduling demands. This role may require scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience. A Journeyman certificate in a mechanical trade is preferred.
• State of Washington Driver's license
• Knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, and building-related repairs.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance, installations, diagnose/repair, and troubleshoot equipment.

• Strong attention to detail/safety and a high level of accuracy.
