Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an electrical maintenance apprenticeship or technical training program.
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or commercial laundry environment.
  • Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and industrial electrical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints.
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in confined spaces safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in industrial electrical maintenance or related technical fields.
  • Experience working with conveyor systems and industrial pumps in a manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systems.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems maintenance including gasket replacement and alignment procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexible hours including overtime to support production needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance on commercial laundry machinery, conveyor systems, pumps, and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in three-phase power systems and control circuits to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Inspect, replace, and maintain gaskets and other mechanical components to ensure optimal machine performance and safety.
  • Climb ladders and access elevated equipment safely to conduct inspections, repairs, and installations as required.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and respond promptly to emergency repair needs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Work overtime as needed to support continuous manufacturing operations and meet production deadlines.
