Master Scheduler

Radiant is seeking a Master Scheduler responsible for developing and maintaining scheduling across multiple complex, multi-site projects. This role encompasses developing a cohesive integrated master schedule, ensuring cross-functional schedule compliance, and providing actionable and informative report outs. The Master Scheduler will serve a critical role in providing companywide alignment and translating high level objectives into feasible actions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow subject matter expertise within highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and maintain master schedules across multiple projects executed in multiple locations that align high level company deliverables and regulatory compliance with facility development milestones, production capacity, and resource availability.
  • Perform critical path, schedule slack, and task dependency analyses.
  • Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts or disruptions and develop collaborative contingency plans to mitigate risk through Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs).
  • Provide regular updates and reports on schedule performance, milestone progress, capacity utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to executive leadership and senior management.
  • Utilize scheduling tools and techniques to optimize production schedules, minimize lead times, reduce bottle necks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, production, quality, and procurement teams to direct and coordinate activities to ensure a timely execution of plans.
  • Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance, change order, or reprioritization of projects.

Deliverables

  • Develop a comprehensive integrated master schedule aligned with core business objectives that captures a complete picture of required production and procurement activities coupled with facility development and regulatory and licensing milestones.
  • Create and maintain visual tools that track and display key metrics related to schedule adherence, milestone progression, on time delivery, and resource utilization.
  • Generate detailed plans that ensure alignment between business objectives, facility readiness, regulatory compliance, production plans, material availability, and design readiness.
  • Provide documented strategies to address identified or potential schedule risks and ensure continuity of operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in master scheduling, supply chain or production planning, or project management within highly regulated industries (nuclear, aerospace, medical device, or industrial).
  • Working knowledge of project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
  • Proficient analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across organizations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Engineering background or technical literacy in nuclear, aerospace, or hardware-intensive systems.
  • Proven track record operating within highly regulated environments with experience integrating key licensing and regulatory milestones into project planning and compliance readiness.
  • Strong expertise in facility planning, encompassing infrastructure design, construction phasing, and operational readiness planning.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as necessary to accomplish our mission.
  • Must work 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.
