Join RETTEW's dynamic team as a Senior Team Manager in Land Development, internally known as the Land Development Team Lead. In this role, you will manage and mentor project managers to ensure excellent service delivery and client satisfaction.This role offers a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and business development.
Work Environment : Hybrid (Three days a week in-office)

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the team meets established goals and will clearly communicate these goals and associated responsibilities. With extensive technical knowledge in land development, the candidate will serve as a technical expert, advisor, or project manager, fostering teamwork and trust to deliver quality projects for both external and internal clients. Collaboration across regions to leverage expertise and share projects is essential.
The candidate will act as a role model, holding team members accountable for adhering to corporate standards, policies, and procedures, and will lead regularly scheduled team meetings. Additionally, they will function as a project manager on high-profile, key, or complex projects, building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective project teams.
In the area of Project Management and Development, the candidate will provide ongoing support, coaching, and mentoring to the team. They will promote staff growth by identifying career development opportunities and assisting the Regional Practice Director in assessing the teams staffing strengths and weaknesses.
For Sales and Business Development, the candidate will support efforts as needed to retain existing clients and expand business through cross-selling services.
Regarding financial responsibilities, the candidate will assist in developing and achieving the team's financial performance goals and hold direct reports accountable for meeting key operational performance metrics.
The ideal candidate will consistently produce quality products per RETTEWs quality practices and procedures as outlined in the Practices Quality Management Plan. They will meet established financial and performance goals, build and retain a strong, diverse team of professionals, and ensure that the team operates seamlessly while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Posses management-level experience in a relevant field.
- Registration or certification in relevant field.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or applicable major.
- Strong technical knowledge of land development discipline.
- Demonstrated team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
-Strong business development skills, including experience building and maintaining client relationships and an understanding of consulting services business.
