Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects. A commitment to safety and attention to detail is essential.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment
Read blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work
Estimate materials and time required for projects
Collaborate with team members on renovation and restoration projects
Perform maintenance tasks including caulking, plastering, and trim carpentry
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites

Skills

Proficiency in construction estimating and basic math for project calculations
Experience in residential painting as well as commercial painting
Familiarity with site practices and safety protocols
Ability to read schematics accurately
Skills in plastering, stucco application, masonry, concrete finishing, and remodeling
Maintenance Person experience with fixture installation and general maintenance tasks
Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and airless paint sprayers
Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results
